The Nordic skin care brand, ACO is the established market leader within skin care in pharmacies in Sweden. However, dominance within the pharmacy channel translated into difficulty converting new younger customers to the brand and channel. VASS was tasked with modernizing their narrative while driving sales with existing and potential consumers. VASS developed a concept that leveraged ACO’s history, sense of trust and efficacy in a modern and approachable way.
VASS designed a partnership with 2 iconic Swedish profiles, Pernilla Wahlgren and Bianca Ingrosso. The mother, daughter duo appealed to different consumers through lifestyle driven, outside the box activations. Ultimately we succeeded in showcasing ACO as an essential brand for both younger and older segments. We partnered with one pharmacy channel to provide a discount code online and in store. Assets from the campaign were utilized on a landing page to provide consumers with a seamless brand experience across all touch points.
ACO’s market share within the face category increased during the week of the campaign and the pharmacy partner experienced a significant influx of new consumers. The majority of these new consumers were between 16-25 years of age. The campaign was a tremendous success demonstrating strong results in both sales and converting a new consumer profile to ACO.
