VASS was engaged by Elizabeth Arden for the execution of two press events and proactive PR work in 2019 in correlation with the anticipated launch of Eight Hour Great 8 Daily Defense Moisturizer and Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules Radiance Renewal Serum. An initial launch event was hosted in September 2019 presenting both novelties at Eight Rooftop Bar located at the top of the fabulous Grand Hotel in Oslo. Guests were invited to experience the New York brand on a metropolitan rooftop overlooking Oslo city. The event aimed to position Elizabeth Arden as innovative and on-trend tapping into blue light protection and the current Vitamin C obsession, connecting with a younger audience in order to recruit a new consumer group. Guests experienced a laidback sunny cocktail lunch taking “safe selfies” with Great 8 and posing in the Vitamin C Capsules bathtub.
To further build on the anticipated launch of the Elizabeth Arden Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules Radiance Renewal Serum, VASS provided full event management and production of the “Wake Up with Elizabeth Arden” influencer treatment event in November 2019. An exclusive, intimate breakfast at the extraordinary Grand Hotel penthouse suite. The famous and spacious suite offered a bespoke experience with stunning views of the city. Guests were personally welcomed at the door and offered an Elizabeth Arden branded robe and slippers, followed by a New York bagel breakfast with coffee and branded vitamin C-rich Shirley Temples. To meet objectives for targeted awareness and exposure, VASS activated intimate treatment sessions with secluded, rejuvenating Vitamin C Ceramide facial treatments. Supported by strategic PR and proactive pitching, the project resulting in copious influential coverage and an impressive ROI for the client.
